Our primary focus is ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing the highest level of customer service and quality product to each client to establish a long lasting relationship of trust and commitment. Meet the Owner and your Hair Stylist

I, DeShayla Denson, can not be described in just one word. This Miami, FL native is an entrepreneuHER, content creator, wig artist, and beauty and fashion connoisseur, among many other things. My love for beauty, hair, and fashion is something that inspires me to put forth my best in everything I do. 

As a licensed cosmetologist, I specialize in healthy hair first, followed by natural hair, silk pressing, and sew-in extensions in South Florida. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University in 2019, which has established me as a multitalented businesswoman with a drive that is simply unmatched. During college, I started my first business customizing clothing and making wigs.  

Post-graduation, I moved back to Miami and quickly realized working the average 9-5 wasn't for me. I wanted to pursue a career that I was passionate about. ShayDee Beauty Co., originally, ShayDee Customz, was created out of my desperation to relearn taking care of my own hair, learning to make wigs so I wouldn’t have to spend hours doing my hair, and learning to do my own makeup. I launched my YouTube channel, sharing content about beauty, my business, and lifestyle. In 2021, I decided to quit working and enrolled in cosmetology school at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. I knew right away that this was the career path for me. I attended school full-time for a year until I challenged the Board at 1,000 instead of the required 1,200 hours, recommended by my instructor because of outstanding performance in classes. In May 2022, I passed the Cosmetology State Board Examination and became a licensed cosmetologist.

I am currently a mobile hair stylist serving South Florida, specifically, Miami-Dade and Broward counties. I have truly found my passion and my calling through cosmetology. I strive to be a positive influence by using my God-given talent to uplift other women and young girls. My goal is to make my clients feel confident and beautiful with each interaction, not just by sitting in my chair. My determination and faith is what allows me to keep striving making ShayDee Beauty Co. the best it could be.
